Iran big game hunting requires mostly, let’s say only, rifles equipped with powerful scopes and binoculars and shooting is usually made within a range of 200m (218yards) to 400m (437yards). Shots are mostly made in lying position however sometimes hunters need to show off their shooting skills at standing position too. Test shots can be made as many as needed at a distance of 100m (109yards) to calibrate the scope.

Aside from 8 subspecies of sheep, Iran also offers other valuable species like desert and mountain Ibexes, Gazelle and wild boar in approximately 20 different hunting areas.

Safe destination

Although Iran is a vast country, it has good roads and safe flights. Hunters can also go sightseeing in their leisure time.
