Travelling to Iran gives you an insight into a long fascinating cultural history. This is evidenced by the imposing ruins of Persepolis and Pasargadae with their architectural masterpieces, exact bas-relief representations and mysterious cuneiform inscriptions.
The royal city of Esfahan is a cultural treasure trove. Its mosques and gardens count as the most beautiful in the Orient.
The city of poetry, namely Shiraz, is home to the mausoleums of two world-famous poets Hafez and Saadi.
In addition to its cultural and historical treasures, Iran has also an impressive variety of landscapes: deserts, impenetrable forests, snow-capped mountains, beaches of the Persian Gulf that have been scorched under the heat and fertile coastal stripe of the Caspian Sea.
